Since 2012, Vela Farms has been cooking for Victoria and the families, churches, businesses, and ranches around it. Everything we cater is made from scratch in our own kitchen, by people who care about feeding you well.

Every menu is custom. Mix and match from any section of our catalog, and we'll build a menu and a quote around your event, your guests, and your budget — from a breakfast for a working crew to several days of meals at a ranch or retreat.

What we cater

  • Breakfast — hearty ranch breakfasts to light continental spreads
  • Lunch — sandwiches, scratch-made soups, artisan salads, and hot lunch buffets
  • Dinner — home-style favorites, Texas barbecue, Tex-Mex, and more
  • Appetizers — hot and cold bites, dips, charcuterie boards, and grazing tables
  • Sweet Bites — dessert shooters, mini cheesecakes, cake bites, and bite-size sweets
  • Beverages — coffee service, iced tea, lemonade, punch, and infused water

How it works

  1. Browse the catalog and note anything that catches your eye.
  2. Build your list using the order sheet.
  3. Request a quote — send us your list, date, headcount, and location. A deposit secures your date.

Service options

Pickup — ready at our kitchen in Victoria, hot or packed and ready to heat.
Delivery — up to 2 hours from Victoria, depending on your order. Fees apply.
Setup, serving & teardown — as much or as little as you need. Fees apply.
Onsite & multi-day — our team cooks and serves at your location, for one event or several days. Ideal for ranches, hunting camps, and retreats.

Rentals available: ceramic dinnerware, cutlery, linens, chafers, hot boxes, drink dispensers, coffee urns, and more.

Where we cater

Based in Victoria, we deliver up to 2 hours away and cook onsite across South Texas — Port Lavaca, Cuero, Goliad, Edna, Yoakum, Hallettsville, Refugio, Corpus Christi, San Antonio, the Houston area, Bay City, El Campo, Wharton, Beeville, Rockport, and Gonzales.

Good to know

Book early. Dates fill up fast, so secure yours as soon as possible.
Deposit. A deposit is required to reserve your date.
Minimums. Minimums apply and vary by menu and service.
Guest counts. Preliminary count due 7 days before your event. Additions welcome up to 2 days before.
Custom menus. Always welcome. If you don't see it here, ask.

Now booking the holidays

Thanksgiving meals, Christmas and holiday parties, office parties and employee lunches, church and community dinners, and holiday grazing tables. Turkey and dressing and all the sides are on our separate Holiday Menu — ask for a copy.
